About these terms
These terms apply to your use of naturecrusade.com, operated by Nature Crusade, an initiative of NC Sustainability Foundation, Mumbai (“we”, “us”). By using the website or making a donation, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Donations
- Donations are voluntary contributions towards planting and caring for native-species trees.
- Every ₹500 funds approximately one tree. Trees are planted in Gujarat, Rajasthan or Maharashtra, at sites chosen by us based on suitability and project needs.
- The contribution includes three years of maintenance, during which the trees are cared for until they are thriving and self-sustaining.
- Every tree is geo-tagged, and its location is shared with the donor.
- A certificate is provided to the person on whose behalf the trees are planted (or to you, for a donation in your own name).
- Plantation follows the planting season and site readiness, so planting may take place some time after your donation.
- Donations to Nature Crusade are not eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Your receipt is an acknowledgement of your donation, not a tax-exemption certificate.
Payments
Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details. A donation is confirmed only once Razorpay confirms the payment, after which we email your receipt and certificate.
Dedications and notifications
When you dedicate a donation to someone and ask us to notify them, you confirm that you are entitled to share their name and email address with us for this purpose. Please keep dedication messages respectful; we may decline to send or display messages that are offensive or unlawful.
Donor accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account.
- Please provide accurate details; donations are linked to your account only after your email address is verified.
- We may suspend accounts that are used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.
Use of the website
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. All content on this website — text, photographs, logos and design — belongs to Nature Crusade or its licensors and may not be reused without permission.
Limitation of liability
We work hard to ensure every tree is planted and cared for as described. Natural events beyond our reasonable control (such as drought, floods or fire) may affect plantations. To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a donation is limited to the amount of that donation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your donation applies to it.
